I don’t know whether to start this post saying OMG LOOK AT THIS TOP or to start this post saying OMG IT IS SO NICE TO SHOOT OUTFIT PHOTOS IN SPRING.
The top was one of those things that as soon as I put on (and fumbled about with the excess fabric and the tangled ties) made me feel really blinkin’ good. I adore it. I adore the teeny twee gingham print, the big open v-neck line, and the big fancy sleeves.
I also adore that it’s from New Look and comes in at under £30. HUZZAH.
I found these (also from New Look) wide-leg black trousers skulking about at the back of my wardrobe this week. I think I bought them sometime last spring and forgot they existed, mostly because I’ve been wearing a slightly more cropped pair of La Redoute culottes instead. But these are a slinkier material and I’ve found a v similar pair online here.
So yeah, that’s this week’s Saturday night outfit planned.
We’re off to visit my uni flatmate in south London and will be going to Bill’s for dinner and all the wine, so I wanted something mildly sassy but also super comfy because knowing us as I do, we’ll be giggling and telling stories until we’re the last people in the restaurant.
What else can I tell ya on this merry Friday? OOOOH, as soon as I was finished shooting with Debs yesterday, I jumped in the car, drove with the window down and cruised on straight to the McDonald’s Drive Thru because this girl is re-obsessed with their Diet Coke. It’s my new coffee.
When I need a pick-me-up I am all over my girl DC again, especially if it’s the McDonald’s variety because man they just get it so right. It’s the perfect bezzie for a little road trip.
McDonald’s Diet Coke > can of Diet Coke > bottle of Diet Coke.
Anyway the end, bye. Have super jolly weekends full of naps, good eyeliner days and sunshine.
