As I’m putting together this post (which may well be my last one before Christmas – omg omg omg omg omg – and breathe), I’m having to use every little grain of restraint I have not to just pour myself a big ol’ glass of rhubarb gin and pull a tin of Quality Street onto my lap for the foreseeable future (seriously though, I’m all about the long thing gold toffee ones, anyone else?).
I took these photos yesterday while having a last-full-working-day-before-the-holidays session over at Josie’s house and I didn’t have a chance to properly flick through them until a moment ago and now I’m like hey girl, you basically look like Mrs Claus before she got old.
Like, how festive and happy?
I mean, I had just gulped down a glorious coffee and eaten a bag of my fave train popcorn, but still. I literally look like I breathe festivity and joy, and y’know what? I’m well alright with that.
So, the point of this post wasn’t actually to ramble on about Christmas and how HOLD THE PHONE, IT’S LESS THAN 48 HOURS AWAY, it was to show off some cute new pieces from Debenhams.
Because that’s right, you sweet thangs, everything – and I mean everything – I’m wearing in these snaps is from good ol’ Debenhams, AKA the best department store on the high street.
From the glorious Call It Spring shoes to the sequin jacket, the perfect-fit boyfriend jeans and the suede must-have dress. Heck, even most of the make-up on my face is from the Debenhams beauty hall.
Just an FYI here, like, I know I’m so late to the party that people are basically scampering off to McDonald’s for Sausage & Egg McMuffins, but Benefit’s Roller Lash is the best thing to happen to eyes since liquid eyeliner.
It is the best, hands down, mascara I’ve ever used. So yeah, add that little dude to your things-I-will-buy-when-I’m-less-poor list immediately.
I’ve rounded up and linked everything included in these fash photos in my new Debenhams haul video (THIRD vid of the week, honestly your girl is on fire right now).
So give it a watch, start adding a few things to your pre-Boxing day online basket and then let’s kick back, stick on Love Actually and start indulging in all the food (and wine and gin and prosecco).
Merry Christmas you little lovebugs, I’ll catch you on the other side. (Unless, y’know, I find a spare hour to upload a list I had planned for tomorrow – but we’ll see…)
This is a sponsored post but all love for sequin jackets, strappy heels and festive feels my own
