Shooting these photos and looking at the results have made me a hundred thousand and twenty-two per cent sure that I am getting myself one of dem fit af Olympus Pen cameras and a 45mm lense before the year is up, even if I have to like cut down on Pumpkin Spice Lattes and bouquets of £3 carnations from Sainsbury’s. Lol.
I look so, dare I say it, glossy?
I LOOK like I *could* be on Pinterest. Maybe.
And whilst I’d never want you guys to be reading my blog and being like oh this is like reading a magazine, because I want it to be human and funny and personal and well, like me and not like a heavily edited version of me, I’m not gonna say no to an outfit photo upgrade.
Just looking at these wizard shots (by the dream gal that is Josie from Fashion Mumblr), gives me a massive boost of style and body confidence. Like yeah, maybe I got this fashion blogging thing down. Maybe I got this.
Anyway, if you’ll have read this post earlier this week, you’ll have known that I jetted off from Southend Airport last Friday night for a whirlwind stay in the Swiss capital of Bern, alongside Josie, her boyfriend and a perfect group of local and national journalists.
So err, yeah, this is what I wore. HOPE YA LIKE (and it gives you a bit of autumn outfit inspo or summin’).
If you do not own a faux fur coat I suggest you go out and get one IMMEDIATELY (there’s some good budget ones in Asda just FYI). It’s like a giant UGG boot for your body. Everyone else was like ‘oh, it’s so cold, innit?’ and I was like what sorry is that a gelato counter over there? I’ve been wearing this beaut ever since I got it last week and like to wear it with a ponytail and feel a *bit* like Emma Roberts in American Horror Story. Although I did get told I looked like Cruella de Vil, but swings and roundabouts.

We spent Saturday night watching a light show (I switched into boots and tights because duh, I’m not an actual mentalist pleading with the world for a spot of hypothermia) and had dinner and ALL the wine in our hotel. I kept on my Cruella di Vil coat for ALL the snugness, and teamed it with the same black shirt maxi dress I wore for the Bloggers Blog Awards. Legit I keep wearing it for every slightly dressy event. Soz not soz. Lipstick is an old fave from Rimmel that you need in yo’ life. (107 from the Kate Moss line)
Oh hi! Here I am in another exploring-the-city kinda get-up. That scarf is life btw. I’ve also wrapped it in such a beautiful and artistic way that you can see the Topshop label just making a feature point of itself. Cute. I also *might* have stolen Chris’s flannel shirt for the trip. I find men’s shirts and t-shirts just come up a bit thicker and therefore make a layering dream team. There’s actually a thin grey roll neck hidden under that shirt too, just so I feel a bit more like I’m wearing an electric blanket. Lol.
