As you read this I’m probably on the train to Gatwick trying not to throw up over myself or roll around the floor with nervous stomach cramps. All the glamour.
I’m not a nervous flyer (even though the 10 and a half hour flight to Vegas will officially be my longest ever flight), but I’m terrified of being around people I don’t know and have never met. I’m a super sociable person and can make BFFs with the people serving me in Tesco, but this is different, this just feels so overwhelming and huge.
I’m typing this on Saturday morning. Chris is watching Sky Sports 1 (boooooring) and I’m listening to Coldplay whilst simultaneously charging all my electronics (camera battery, laptop and iPhone battery pack) and I feel so excited and terrified and ALL the emotions that I’m actually shaking.
We’ve just had breakfast at Frankie & Benny’s and I’m pretty hyped up on cappuccino. I’ve also just set up my DropBox and synced my laptop and phone so that all my video footage will transfer directly to my laptop whenever I’ve got WIFI which will be mega handy for editing videos whilst on the road.
I’m about to check in to my flight online, and then I’m going to take a photo for this post and maybe paint my toe nails a nice summer coral shade.
I feel like this might be the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my life. I assume this is how people feel the day before their wedding, or the day before a new role as a CEO or something. I think my body and brain might be going into meltdown.
ANYWAY. I’ve scheduled about 4 posts a week to go out whilst I’m away – obviously there won’t be any Friday Favourites, but I’ll make up for it with a bumper one when I’m back. Obvs.
In the meanwhile, please, please, PLEASE do follow me across social media as Trek America are putting on lots of extra WIFI facilities for us to go a bit mental with snaps etc. And hopefully, fingers crossed, the ability to upload a video or two whilst I’m away. Woo to the hoo.

And of course follow the rest of the action from my fellow internet personality travellers using the hashtag #ITrekHere, which we’ll be using across social channels.
Right, I’m off, before I legit sick burp across my keyboard. Or faint from adrenaline and caffiene overload. If that’s even a thing.
