The Beauty Products On My Black Friday Shopping List

With Black Friday on the horizon and internet sales going off, I’ve teamed up with Birchbox to chat you through the beauty products currently riding high at the top of my shopping wish list.

Starting today, they’ll be offering a whopping 20% off across all products on the site until Tuesday!

Plus, if you use my unique code HANNAHBF you’ll also be able to nab a completely free BECCA highlighter with any order.

Happy shopping, lads! Here’s what I’ll be adding to my basket…

Caudalie Cleansing Oil.

Having tried nearly every oil cleanser on the market this year (I jest, I jest – it’s more like, ooh, I dunno 87% of them?) I have decided that my absolute favourite one is of course the very first one I tried. Ha, sure.

I love that the Caudalie Cleansing Oil has a pump rather than relying on me to stick grubby fingers into a pot, and the smell is just delicious. It’s almond-y and sweet, and removes every last trace of not just my foundation, but my mascara and eye shadow too. And somehow on top of all that doesn’t leave me feeling too greasy either? Win, win.

Bobbi Brown Longwear Shadow Stick.

I use the ‘Golden Bronze’ shade of this almost every day – I love the way it takes 10 seconds to apply to my lid and then blend out, and looks great dragged on my lower lash line too.

Perfect for when you’re trying to apply your make-up with hazy sleep-deprived eyes.

Whilst I’m keen to re-stock on my go-to colour, there’s also a couple of other Shadow Stick shades, including ‘Goldstone’ and ‘Golden Pink’ which have peaked my interest and could be divine for the festive season.

This Works Deep Sleep Spray.

Because there is no greater night time sensation than sliding into fresh bed sheets with a fully cleansed and moisturised face, a cup of tea, a good book and a spritz of This Works Deep Sleep Spray.

Oh OK and maybe the electric blanket popped on too.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Overnight Perfector.

Am always a bit dubious with trying new hair products that promise silkiness and shine because history has told me they tend to do one of two things – either make my hair look like I’ve rubbed an entire pot of Lurpak in it, or do, well… nothing.

The Living Proof Overnight Perfector is the first thing I’ve tried in years and years that’s instantly wowed me. Whilst the instructions recommend using on damp hair, I’ve found a pea-size amount applied to dry hair is the absolute bomb.

I’ve got quite fine hair and this doesn’t weigh it down, but instead makes it feel a bit like I’ve just come out the hairdressers – even on day three.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser.

As a self-confessed oily gal, I’ve been trying to limit how many oil-based moisturisers and hydration products I use because I have an inkling they’re contributing to my delicious blackhead-infested nose.

I’ve been using the Origins GinZing Moisturiser one for both AM and PM of late and love how light it feels on my skin and just how zingy it smells – it packs a citrus-y punch which is particularly nice in the mornings.

And so far no lizard-like winter skin anywhere to be seen.

Hugo Boss ‘The Scent For Her’.

I recently took this to New York with me and sob, sob, sob, had to leave the bottle there as I had sadly used up every last drop.

I always find it hard to describe just how delicious a scent is to other people – but the Hugo Boss Scent For Her is sweet and fruity without being overpowering or sickly. It’s delicate and a little bit sexy. It’s the kind of thing you’d want to spritz on after a long day at work to get yourself feeling fresh and cute before midweek cocktails with your mates.
