Things I am quite digging at the moment: Starbucks Drive Thru, the length of my hair and this purple jumper.
Things I am not really digging at the moment: My new chin that is v keen to be the centre of attention in every photo, Jamie Oliver’s gnocchi recipe that doesn’t work and having a blocked nose.
I spent an embarrassing amount of time last autumn/winter trying to hunt out kooky fun-coloured knitwear and failed miserably, hitting my shopping peak with a £7.99 super pastel blush pink jumper from H&M.
BUT GUYS LOOK WHAT I FOUND THIS YEAR. LOOK AT HIM. LOOK HOW BRIGHT AND FUN AND WONDERFUL HE IS.
I first spied this over on Instagram when one of you guys recommended I follow @thefashionbugblog for maternity fashion, and the very same day I started following her she posted this gem over on her Insta stories.
I assumed it would be one of those things that are cute if you’re willing to splash out a casual £70 for a jumper, but no guys, THIRTY FIVE POUNDS. Which yes alright isn’t Primark I’ll-snap-you-up-right-now-without-stopping-to-think-about-whether-I-can-afford-my-weekly-shop cheap, but is pretty agreeable in the scheme of things.
It’s from & Other Stories which is one of my fave window shopping websites. I say window shopping because the majority of its heavenly midi dresses and cute leather bags are just out of the ol’ HG price range.
I sized up with a large so that I could continue to wear it throughout pregnancy, but it automatically comes a little slouchy, so would say it’s pretty true to size.
It also comes in a whole host of other colours, should you not wish to look like a living and breathing pack of Parma Violets, including this sexy as hot pink version.
It’s not itchy (HUZZAH!), is super comfy, and yeah OK I’ll stop singing its praises like I do the PR for it now.
I teamed it with my trusty gold La Redoute pleated skirt (which, just FYI is down to half price), but it’d also look cute with frayed hem jeans and a pair of heeled ankle boots.
Over and out.
