I’ve developed a bit of a spring uniform at the moment. It mostly involves pink, blazers, midi skirts and desperately trying to hold my head in a way which hides my harrowing mousey-brown roots from society.
It’s a pretty pleasant set-up I’ve got myself tbh.
The blazers make me feel like I could take over the world if maybe I just stopped thinking about naps for all of an hour, whilst the midi skirts make me feel like a swishy ladylike princess and I’m A-OK with that.
Recently, I haven’t been able to take full outfit snaps quite as regularly as I’d like because sweet Jesus when did life get so busy? So for now, you’ll have to deal with little iPhone pics, snapped as I sashay between meetings, Tesco and my local coffee shop.
So here’s four fave Insta outfits from the past week or two, hope ya like!
These pink culottes are probably the sassiest trousers I’ll ever own and I think henceforth I’m going to refer to them as my sassy pants.
This was a classic WHO RUN THE WORLD? HANNAH GALE outfit, completed by a pretty sizeable coffee and a £4 Primark t-shirt that goes with everything.
Yes I wore a t-shirt that says ‘Brunch Club’ on to eat a plate of avocado on toast and if anyone has a problem with how ridiculously basic I am, soz but not soz.
This gold skirt is a new fave from La Redoute (who still have 40% off everything with ‘BIG40’ until Thursday). The elasticated waist makes it v comfy and perfect for date nights when you get carried away and eat three courses and a bottle of wine and whatcha gonna do.
I’m v much living in this little smock gingham number from Primark at the moment. It’s just £13 and has the cutest little frill sleeves – it also comes in a blue stripe style with teeny tiny pineapples on it, which is just as cute.
I wore this for meetings (and alotta cake) in London before a dinner by the river to celebrate Primark’s high summer collection. I gotta say, black ankle boots and smock dresses are a match made in heaven for when it’s not *quite* hot enough for open toe sandals.
This was today’s outfit and I got Debs to snap this for me outside a tea room and we had a nice old couple watching through the window and hashtag mortifying.
You might remember I bought this Boohoo skirt just before Christmas and it fast became my festive party piece because much metallic. I think it looks just as cute for spring with heeled sandals and a matchy-matchy little blazer.
