I’ve been trying to write this post for a good half an hour but keep getting distracted by a) online sofa shopping, b) cute cats and c) my burning desire for a really good afternoon snack. So soz about that.

Anyway, outfit post.

You might have seen I posted a cute lil mirror selfie on Instagram last week whilst I was staying at the Ace Hotel with Radox. Quite a few of you tweeted me to ask for a link to the navy ruffle top I was wearing, so I thought it probably warranted its own blog post. So alas, here we are.

I dragged Debs up and out the house bright and early this morning to shoot on the back streets of Colchester – and yes, this is the exact outfit I wore out for dinner (aside from the coat), super gracefully picked up off my bedroom floor like the classy gal I am.

The top is a recent babe from Next which you can snap up here. It also comes in a v sassy red colour which I know my blogger gal Erica Davies has already sported over on her blog.

Mine’s in a 12 and fits pretty well – I always find Next are pretty generous with sizing, so bear that in mind if you want to play the IT’S JUST BEEN PAY DAY, I’MA TREAT MYSELF game. Which is always a fave of mine.

The trousers are a mega old buy from Warehouse, but I’ll try and link something similar below. The earrings are a 2015 offering from H&M but I’m living for the tassel earring at the mo, so if you take one thing away from this post it shouldn’t be the top, it should be the undeniable desire to get yo ass down to your local high street for a pair of tassel babies.

Happy shopping you sass pots.
