Oh hello you little pickles.
I’m currently eating some Crunchy Nut cornflakes straight from the box whilst wearing a Gryffindor sweatshirt and trackie bottoms, so y’know, living the 9am dream.
As you know, I’m a bit of a LUSH lover. I’m all about lazing in the bath with a brightly coloured bath bomb, a glass of peach squash and something jazzy on the iPad. And so I thought I’d do a post on some of the spesh products coming out for Valentine’s Day in case yo’ want to treat yourself because you, my darling, are a queen.
(Spoiler – all these products are online to buy now and should be available at your local store).
This is the perfect little post-work-I-need-some-pamper-time-but-I’m-freakin-broke cure. It costs just £2.95, comes in a v Instagrammable little pink heart and arrow and smells sweet af. OH and it’s new for 2017.
It turns your bath an adorbs shade of barbie pink and smells like sweet sherbet-y happiness mingled with a couple of crushed Parma Violets. I think you’ll like it.
As far as shower gel names and colours go, this is absolutely killing it. It’s got sweet marshmallow root, vanilla pod infusion and fresh pomegranate juice all rammed in there which makes it pretty sweet, and then has grapefruit oil to give it a zingy kick.
I really, really like it. It’s not as full on as Snow Fairy but it’s light and fruity and makes your skin smell divine.
Although The Comforter is my fave bubble bar because hey, it smells just like Snow Fairy and ain’t no basic bitch like a basic bitch who loves Snow Fairy, there’s no denying the Unicorn Horn deserves at least 17 heart-eye emojis.
It smells like lavender so is perfect for attempting to mentally detach yourself from the world after a super long day.
Admittedly I’m not much of a soap-user – I’m all about that shower gel life because y’know easier. But this, well hubba blinkin’ hubba. It’s pink, it smells quite subtly of rose (probs because it has rose oil, rose petals and rose syrup in it…) and LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS.
I used to keep a pot of LUSH lip scrub on my desk at LOOK and used it every day and I’m desperately trying to get back into the habit because it’s a godsend when your lips feel like a hedgehog’s back.
This one is made of a combo of sea salt, caster sugar and cocoa butter and made v tasty with the addition of almond and mandarin oils. It’s perfect for when matte liquid lipsticks cling to your dead lip skin aggressively, and ain’t no-one got time for that.
