But can we just.
I often struggle with jumpsuits because y’know, my legs are about as long as my cat’s, but I really love the way this dreamy botanical-print number looks with a pair of strappy heels. It gives my body proportions I didn’t even know it was capable of having and for that it gets one heck of a big, juicy thumbs up.
I shot it yesterday with Debs in Colchester and was so cold I stopped feeling cold and just became a numb half human. It took two bowls of soups and some fleece pyjamas to nurse me back to a normal body temperature. Hashtag living the dream.
We shot four outfits, and this was without a doubt my favourite one. It’s a little out of my comfort zone and something I wouldn’t usually pick up, but sweet diggity I am all over it as a slightly more ‘grown-up’ and covered up alternative to a slinky little party dress.
And bonus – I won’t have to shave my legs or fake tan. My boyfriend’s one heck of a lucky guy.
AND there’s enough room in it for pizza and a pitcher of passion fruit margarita and I am all about that life.
Oh and one last AND – it’s down to £31.50 in the sale over at Debenhams. Can I get a woo to the hoo?
I’m currently weighing up whether this is a sassy date night outfit or a HEY GUYS, HANNAH’S ARRIVED outfit for my Christmas drinks with everyone I went to uni with (most of whom I haven’t seen since Christmas drinks last year). Whaddya think?
I am obsessed with the print. It’s very Hannahfgale. That’s literally the first time I’ve ever referred to myself by my social media handle. Someone push me in a lake or something. Anyway, it’s a little loud and bright and colourful, but also super wearable. Like, you could walk into a bar and people wouldn’t need to shield their eyes behind their bags of pork scratchings. It’s got the perfect balance of hey, I’m making a statement and hey, I’m not offending anyone.
I’m also a big fan of the shape – it nips in at the waist with a printed tie-up belt, but kind of sits like a loose shirt up top. There’s no buttons or hooks, so there’s no straining across the chest and guys, get this, I didn’t even have to use a safety pin to give myself a bit of dignity. It sits just right.
(Just an FYI it’s very true to size and doesn’t have a zip – so my curvy butt nearly didn’t squeeze in, so don’t get ahead of your hypothetical January diet and size down, it’ll only end in tears).
For these photos I’ve kept this baby pretty dressy (because obvs it’s December and you can get away with basically wearing a ball gown if you so wish) with rose gold heels and a jewel box clutch bag – but I think it will look BANGIN with a coral lipstick and sandals in the summer too. OH OH OH or also worn really casual with a pair of white Converse and a biker jacket in the spring.
What do you fellas think?
