The HG Weekly Charts

Good day you fine fellows, how’s it going?

I could not be MORE excited for the weekend. I seemed to have allowed myself to get swallowed whole by the monster that is cyber week and have somehow dedicated my life to finding codes and updating codes and promoting codes and sleep is for losers.

I feel like I’ve joined a cult.

My cousin’s coming to stay this weekend, so I’m predicting red wine, good food, roaring fire, blankets and maybe a little bit of old school N64 if I can rope her in. The perfect pop of downtime after a v hectic week.

I’ve also got a sneaky lil ASOS try on haul to edit, so keep yo’ eyes peeled for that badger coming your way on Sunday.

Also, I’m really enjoying these weekly charts posts, because it feels like I get the chance to sit down with a cup of tea and fill you in on everything that’s been going on. Like a catch up with a mate, and it feels divine. So I hope you like them too.

G O I N G  U P

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them – This film gets a strong eight from me. We went to see it at the weekend with some pals and ate £5 worth of pick ‘n’ mix before it even started. Hashtag don’t hate the player. Anyway, LOVED Eddie Redmayne and loved the magical creature set-up, it felt like the Harry Potter world had collided with Pokemon. Wasn’t entirely sold by the storyline. But omg so worth going to see, if only to hear the Harry Potter music spill out into the cinema for the first time in years and years.

Black Friday – Obviously I’ve done this post rounding up all the best fashion and beauty deals and codes, but there’s one offer that I really wanted to flag. OSKIA are not only offering 20% off full-sized products but will be donating ALL profits to Evelina Children’s Hospital in London. There’s never been a better time to treat yourself to that cult Renaissance Cleansing Gel… Just enter code ‘BRIGHT’ at checkout.

Dune bag – I snapped up a pretty little studded white cross body bag last Friday at my friend Erica’s event in Essex called ‘Fashion Re:Boot‘ (and haven’t taken it off since, it has SO much sass). It’s basically a place where bloggers, stylists and crafty people sell off their used clothes and accessories and y’know, stuff. ANYWAY, I’ve heard on the grapevine that my bag will be available at Dune after Christmas. So save that cheque from your nan – I’ll tweet out a link when it arrives online!

G O I N G  D O W N

The Missing – OK, not going down because it’s bad, going down because the last episode is next week and I’m not sure how I’m going to cope as a person when it’s gone. If you’re not watching The Missing on BBC One then you are broken and wrong. It’s the best thing I’ve seen on TV since season one of Broadchurch. It basically follows the story of girls kidnapped and kept in a basement. Y’know, the usual light and easy TV viewing.

iPhone 7 camera – Alright yes I know that woo the iPhone 7 camera is amazing and better than any other iPhone camera before it, but it is obsessed with over-exposing. See snap below. Where is my jumper. Huh. It’s the same when I try and take a selfie and I’m not wearing a white top – it makes my face look like Voldemorts and it’s v boring. Anyone know how to fix this?

Underwear – I mean, underwear in itself is not going down. I love underwear. Fresh, new, sassy underwear. But my underwear is going down. It’s all SO uncomfortable. Twenty seventeen is going to be the year that I bin 80% of my underwear drawer and march to Marks & Spencer to replace it all with cotton pants that give me a serious VPL and cute bras that actually fit. Am I getting old?
