Guys, guys, it has PEONIES on it.
Peonies, on a dress.
It’s like this dress was invented for little poppets like you and I who delight in being a proper little twenty-something cliche.
Oh and pockets, this dress has pockets. Let’s be for real though, what else could you possibly want from a dress aside from peonies and pockets, and well, enough room going on in the belly area for all the pizza and cake your heart desires?
That’s what I thought.
Anyway, this pretty hun is from Debut at Debenhams, and without a doubt is my number one wedding guest dress of 2016.
I love the big full skirt, the way it nips in at your waist, and well the pink peony print that makes a statement without *quite* overshadowing the bride.
It’s quite the darling.
And it’d be just as dreamy for a day at the races or a graduation or y’know some other fancy schamncy occasion where you get to dress up like a Princess and wear fake eye lashes and drink prosecco.
Because this frock packs a punch on its own, I paired it with simple accessories – a red clutch bag and matching matte red lip ‘cos I’m all about that red-pink clash life, and a pair of strappy black heels. They’re the perfect height so you look all glam without making you hobble about in pain 17 minutes after putting them on.
Do you likey?
