A Week In Outfits

You know when you’re trying to write some words but all your mind can focus on is how flippin’ incredible an ice-cold can of Diet Coke would be? Yeah, well that’s kinda happening rn, so bear with me if my sentences aren’t as snappy and fun and making you snort your tea out of your nose as usual. Soz.

So here’s summin’ fun – a whole post dedicated to what I’ve been wearing for the past week. Yippee.

There’s something nice about looking at outfit photos that aren’t so glossy they could slide into the fashion editorial pages of Vogue and no-one would notice. It’s like going back to the basics of blogging, seeing that personal side, feeling like that blogger is basically just your internet gal pal and not an actual model.

So, erm, HI!

I’ve teamed up with the babin’ people at Case Station for this post. I got to customise five iPhone 6 cases on their snazzy new website to co-ordinate with my weekly outfits, and then, well, then I went out and bought a massive new full-size mirror for all the oncoming mirror selfies. So big in fact, that it took me 15 minutes to squeeze it into the car and I woke up with sore armpits the next day from all the heaving. Hashtag gains.

Anyway, shall we take a little sneak peek at my outfits as seriously sassy af phone cases, eh?

The whole Case Station process itself is megz easy – you can play around with the existing patterns and templates and add texts and shapes or you can upload your own photos to customise. They offer next day delivery and seriously hard-wearing cases (I’ve actually been using a Case Station case for the past few months and not only has the case not cracked or faded, but my phone’s still in one piece so that’s pretty dreamboatin’). You can whip up your own design online or head down to The Gadget Show, Westfield between 23- Oct and Nov 1 to make your own.

The lovely people at Case Station also commissioned a study recently that found  two thirds of 25 to 34 year olds are tempted to dye their hair – with blue, purple and red being the most popular colours.

They found that 17% of woman would change their hair colour based on the season, whilst a further 15% would dye it to turn over a fresh leaf after the break up of a relationship (Lol, I did this once. You do NOT want to see me as a brunette – my friends quaintly named me ‘Rat Dog’.)

Rebecca Alford from Case Station said: “We are starting to see a huge surge in young adults wanting to unleash their inner designer, and make a real statement of who they are through individual personalisation. Whether that be through fashion, hair, or even mobile accessories, they want to be the ones who start the conversation, that the rest want to follow.  We believe that the trend of personalisation will continue to gather momentum rapidly, and consumers will be increasingly looking for new ways to stand out from the crowd when it comes to their individual style. This is the ethos that what we built Case Station on; allowing consumers to create enviable cases, designed by them and built to last from high quality aerospace grade material, so you can even defy convention with your case!”

So here’s the big question, which case should I keep on my phone? EEEEEP.

Oh, and which outfit are you diggin’?

Oh and P.S, I gotta share something with you – the heels are a lie. A big giant fat lie. I was wearing my cat slippers IRL, soz.

This is a sponsored post but all outfits, thoughts and sassy phone cases my own, obvs 😉
