I felt a bit hideously sick when I realised I hadn’t included my current fashion love of my life in an outfit post on my blog, ever.
Bit of a bold lie from me considering it makes up a large part of my outfit about 4 times a week and only ever gets washed when there’s an actual slight musty BO smell lingering about it. Soz.
The sweet, sexy, piece of clothing in question is my leaf print shirt from H&M that I bought whilst eagerly trying to find somewhere to spend my remaining $100 on the last day of NYC back in June.
He just snuck into my vision all sassy and green and happy and friendly, and then I realised he only cost $15 and well, he was snapped up immediately.
Admittedly I haven’t seen it online in the UK yet, but I’ve heard from other H&M creepers that he is very much in stores dotted about the country and he’s retailing for £12.99.
The shirt is light, oversized, floaty, and goes with everything – especially a bold red lip and lashings of gold jewellery.
I teamed it with a black leather skirt I haven’t worn since 2014 (and is admittedly a bit stretched and sack-like because well, I was a teeny tiny bit lumpier over Christmas), and my new strappy black sandals from Public Desire.
I’ve wanted a good pair of black lace-up flats to wear pretty much all day, every day throughout summer and these hunks were only £24.99. They make my heart happy.
These outfit shots were quickly snapped outside a hotel in Piccadilly by my number one blogger gal pal Corrie from DizzyBrunette3 – and straight afterwards we strutted off in search of Primark and ice cream.
It was our first reunion post-Trek, so it was nice to see each other in a setting that didn’t involve Grand Canyon sweatshirts, dry shampoo and blistered feet.
