I know, I mean, ME obsessing over a sleeveles jacket. How out of the ordinary. How bizarre. How classic Hannah.
Just weeks after sulking over the fact the high street was being really lame at selling sleeveless jackets, a truckload rolled up. And I mean a serious truckload – guys, guys, I’ve seen them in Ipswich branches of stores, not just in London. This is unheard of, nothing good ever ends up here in the ‘Hannah, where actually is Ipswich?’ part of the country.
But they have, they’ve arrived and my heart (not my bank balance) is just a little bit happier.
The little creamy/peachy baby I’m wearing in this outfit is from Warehouse, but there’ a couple of similar styles including this trench one from River Island this classic white one from New Look that I’m already eyeing up.
Oh and just an FYI – sleeveless jackets were EVERYWHERE at the AW15 press days and they came in a plethora of other colours, for those of you who would rather wear a live tiger than beige. I don’t really like beige, it gets dirty ALL. THE. TIME and well, it’s not exactly flattering on your skin tone or body shape, is it?
I teamed my new sleeveless gem with my beloved GAP boyfriend jeans because I don’t think they’ve ever made an appearance in one of my outfit posts before, and also because I love the mash up between the sleek jacket and rough and ready jeans.
I threw a super old New Look leopard tee into the mix (although I’ve been wearing Breton tees with this outfit this week) and those shoes. The ones myself and 59843627836 other bloggers have been harping on about all spring. And yes, they’re still available. And yes they’re beautiful and yes they go with everything and yes they’re hella comfy.
I finished off my spring look (perfect for those days when it’s meant to be windy and rainy all day, but then it’s surprisingly warm and clammy and you just don’t have a clue what’s going on) with my fave red lippy and an old H&M tote bag jazzed up with my River Island bag pom pom (which I’ve seen still in some stores over the past few weeks).
Oh, and just a side note? I totally had to use a apple-scented surface wipe to get Rudey’s wee off this bag before I shot it, so that’s all cute and glam and yum.
