My January homeware wish list

You know when you were younger and the only sort of homeware you were interested in was glittery jelly candles and nice pink book ends? Remember that? Remember when your idea of a nightmare Saturday was watching your parents disappear into B&Q for HOURS whilst you sat in the car? Now look at you, look at what you’ve become.

I have it on good authority that not long after you become obsessed with vases and cushions and IKEA, you become quite obsessed with gardening. So yeah, think about that. Think about the days in the not so far future where you’re using a padded knee cushion thing to rest your joints whilst you weed – it’s terrifying, right?

In less aggressively scary news, here’s this week’s dreamy homeware wish list. It’s crammed with pretty things I’d like to put in my Ipswich home, except, wait no, I don’t have enough disposable income to throw my money in the air and dance around and buy EVERYTHING.

I do, however, have a £50 IKEA voucher that needs spending (thanks Santa), so shall be trotting down to the Lakeside store as soon as I can be bothered to face an hour long drive down the A12.

But yeah, I see a theme shining through. Gold, pink and THREE wash bags. It’s a good life being a cliche of a lifestyle blogger in her twenties, honestly.

I think it’s scary that one day I’ll probably start wasting my money on matching plate sets and probably matching cutlery too. I love the h&m basket and you can never have too many makeup bags. I love the lipstick one!

I forgot to ask, is h&m home only online? I’m not sure my local one stocks homeware?!

  • Valentina

    Great blog!

I nominated you in the Versatile Blogger Award, have a look! 🙂

  • Love this post! Hoping to buy a house this year so totally on with all the home inspiration pinning. I look forward to seeing what those Ikea vouchers go on! – Jazmin x

  • I love that phone! I’m with you, mind. I love looking at all these lovely homey things in IKEA, NEXT etc but just can’t afford to throw my money at a £40.00 pillow… I also never feel rooted to a place for me to feel as though I need to decorate, which is daft because I could use the things when I move, it just seems like more work when I’m packing! haha

The H&M at Westfield in Stratford has good homeware stuff! Its the only branch this side of London with a decent range. And also, try TK Maxx for Home stuff, amazing stuff and always a bargain to be had.
