OK, LOOK GUYS I GOT A TRIPOD AND TOOK PHOTOS ON MY OWN IN THE GARDEN.
This is very exciting for me. Although it was bloody freezing and windy and cold and far too embarrassing to ever do in a public place. But still, I’m hoping this means exciting new things in terms of fashion content for my blog. I just need to play around with the focus a bit more to stop the photos looking a *bit* like something I took on my Nokia back in 2004, bless.
I got this slutty little dress years ago, just as I was starting out my new-found life as a hot, single twenty-something after a break-up. I had it in this dark blue shade and also in peach and for a three month peiod back in 2012 I alternated between the two for every house party and trip to the pub, because it showed off my thighs AND boobs.
When my best friend was doing a clear out and found these in her wardrobe she asked if I wanted them donated to a chaity shop and I was like nuuuuuh uh. She was like, ‘you’ll never wear them again’, so here I am, making a point and wearing them again.
I actually wore this exact outfit out for dinner on Friday (a dreamy curry for cheat day complete with peshwari naan and bindhi bhajis and everything right with the world), except I wore tights because I’m not actually insane.
The joy of this dress (which is from Love Clothing) is that a gentle gust of wind is enough to send the skirt flying upwards, allowing the world a sneak peek at your vagina, which is always an ideal situation.
It’s got a VERY short skirt to it, which I hope doesn’t make me sound all old and sensible – but I’m short and it barely covers my bum, or, well… my vagina, which, for a 25-year-old with curvy thighs, probably isn’t ideal.
But I like wrap dresses, there’s something so sophisticated and chic about them, plus they’re mega flattering if you’ve got a waist but then A GIGANTIC BUM AND HIP AREA like me.
So yeah, if anyone sees any nice ones that might leave a little bit more to the imagination in the genital regions, please do hook a girl up. CHEERZ.
