I love christmas, I love scooping a bargain in the sales (albeit from the comfort of my own home, fuck gettng about 14 bruises in the Boxing Day sales), but you know what I love even more? New season clothes.
Fresh clothes both online and in the shops, new things, new summerier things. I get that we’re still a way off from actual warm weather and it being acceptable to wear fruit print things again (fruit trumps floral everytime, doesn’t it?) but it’s nice to have something to look forward to in the fashion world.
I love that autumn/winter allows me to wrap up, hide my legs under tights and snuggle into layers, but what I love even more is how much brighter and happier spring/summer clothes are.
I’ll admit, I’m slightly terrifed of how much skin I have to show when it genuinly gets hotter. The copious amounts of cropped tops and skorts about last year made me want to hide and roll around in a big old baked Camembert rather than work out every day in a bid to be wobble free.
So yeah, here’s a few side notes to what I’ve picked for my wish list this year.
Number 3 and 14 are both from the Z for Accessorize collection – they’re both gold plated which is pretty damn nifty. I got a few bits last season, managed to snap both a necklace and a bracelet from general clumsiness, so I’m hoping to snap up a few new pieces. They last way longer than Primark, are pretty cheap, and I’m well over statement jewels for the time being.
Numbers 5 could make me look like a blueberry flavoured condom (although, yeah yeah they’re not actually blue, but whatevs) but it’s just so alluring and I LIVE in my black leather mini, so maybe this could be a spring replacement.
And number 12? Number 12 is what chic, sophisticated and beautiful Hannah plans to wear with a crisp white shirt and sandals whilst galivanting around Europe (especially Italy) come September when she’s on a road trip with her boyfriend. No harm in planning a holiday wardrobe 9 months in advance, right? RIGHT?
Oh and 17. I can’t even. There are no words for how perfect this is. Pay day, please come quickly.
